Este flujo se ve obligado a pasar a trav\u00e9s del elemento filtrante, dejando el contaminante adherido, mientras que el aire limpio pasa a la c\u00e1mara de limpieza (cabezal), sale del filtro y, en consecuencia, se libera a la atm\u00f3sfera.<br \/><br \/>El proceso de limpieza de las mangas se realiza mediante chorros de aire comprimido dirigidos al venturi de la jaula en direcci\u00f3n opuesta al flujo de gas, lo que genera una onda de choque y libera las part\u00edculas.
